Wilmington bus drivers consider a strike (NC)
MARCH 29, 2005 -- The bus system that serves Wilmington makes plans, in case the bus drivers go on strike.

The union that represents Wave Transit drivers and mechanics is negotiating a new contract, but there are signs of trouble in the talks. <snip>

The drivers have been working without a contract since last June.

Johnson says the drivers voted last night to reject the company's latest offer and are considering a strike vote.
