Union dispute flares at Dallas laundry plant
More than 100 employees of Angelica Corp.'s laundry plant in Dallas want to drop Unite Here as their labor union, Angelica said Wednesday. <snip>

Unite Here, which is affiliated with the AFL-CIO, claims the petition was circulated "under false pretenses," and it expects the petition to be dismissed.

"Workers who signed the petition and others reported that the petition was circulated by a worker in the plant who is against the union," Unite Here said in a statement. "However, that worker circulated a blank piece of paper, and gave the impression that it was to be used to support a worker who had been laid off." <snip>
