Navratilova to enter public service in 2005
LEIPZIG, Germany -- Martina Navratilova plans to get into public service after she stops serve-and-volleying in 2005.

Navratilova, who turns 47 next month, said Wednesday at the Sparkassen Cup tournament that she plans to play through the end of next season. Then, she wants to get involved with American politics, perhaps running for office.

"If Arnold Schwarzenegger can run for governor in California, then who knows? I have the muscles," said Navratilova, a Czech-born U.S. citizen who lives in Colorado. "I will be involved, especially the way things are going right now. The conservative party is too strong."

Woo, if she doesn't like conservatives in Colorado, then she is one of us! Hopefully she can run against someone in her district - if I recall correctly, she lives in Aspen, Colorado which is the 3rd District, incidentially McInnis' district, and he's retiring in '04.

to the former Czech citizen.

7. Be still my heart-McInnis is retiring!!!

What awesome news. He is a choad. He was the one making speeches implying the Endangered Species Act caused the death of firefighters doing battle with Western Fires last year.

McInnis was very VERY discreet, but PigBoy picked up on it and ran with it as fact.

When the truth came out, both McInnis and PigBoy were proven to be the nitwits they truly are.

Martina in for McInnis..This is too good to think about. Colorado already has Congressman Udall, who completely rules. Now to rid the House of Scotty boy. I love it,

9. Oral Hatch

Is from Utah I believe.

We had our chance to take out one of the Colo Senators last year, but lost that chance.

Next up is Ben Campbell...

12. Duh- you got me there
Sorry, I'd just really like to see that idiot out of political power. Could we convince her to move to Utah and run against him. I mean, Utah has great skiing and a lovely state.

campbell and Allard are the Colorado senators and either one of them needs to go. Hey, they may be more vulnerable than Hatch.

11. Martina/Chrissy (Evert) in 2012
Two terms for the next democratic president, then, what the hell.

Navratilova can show her ability in Colorado, then it's on to the national stage.
