Iranian, Russian Officials Discuss Completion of Bushehr Plant
http://www.mosnews.com/news/2005/03/07/iranrus.shtml

Iran’s Majlis Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel in a meeting with Vice-Speaker of Russian State Duma Sergei Baburin on Sunday said Iran-Russia historic and social friendship was the main factor behind consolidation of bilateral relations, Iranian news agency IRNA reported.

Haddad Adel said that the two countries should do their utmost to take coordinated stances in line with their mutual interests. Referring to the US expansionist policies, he said the US seeks to play down the United Nation’s activities in a bid to take its place and dictate its own policies.

He pointed to the construction of Bushehr nuclear power plant as a symbol of Iran-Russia technical and industrial cooperation. The Iranian Majlis speaker expressed hope that the completion of the power plant would open a new chapter in Tehran-Moscow cooperation.

He termed the Caspian Sea as the sea of peace and friendship, saying that the Caspian Sea littoral states particularly Iran and Russia should try to determine the legal status of the sea and put an end to the presence of foreigners in this region.

2. Message for the Bush White house
"...put an end to the presence of foreigners in this region."

Combine that little tidbit with the news that China is attempting to stick a wedge in between Australia and the US, and Italy may soon be leaving the "Coalition of the Paid Off" and I would say the geopolitical chessboard is being re-arranged.

Meanwhile, back at the Pig Farm, George W. Bush has established a "war room" to take down Social Secuirty.

3. Leave us not forget Hezbollah speaking up in Lebanon,
and Senor Chavez' travels in India and the Middle East.
And Aruba siding with Venezuela about military activity in
Curacao. And other things. Bush is being called out. Some
of the rats are considering whether it might be safer in the
water. Me, I'm thinking about whether it's time to store
away a bit of extra food.

4. And now we can start to see that this all has not a damn thing to do with
democracy, and that it has everything to do with power, money and control. Thanks for clearing that up Mr. Putin sir.

5. No offense, but only gullible fools ever think it's about anything else.
Once you realize the government of the USA is just like any
other government, not better, not worse, just the same,
corrupt, venal, self-serving, obsessed with power and control,
everything starts to make much more sense. The same sort
of thing can be said of the citizens of our great republic,
they are just like people everywhere, not better, not worse.

We live in the decadent late-phase of a once great empire. It's
been a short ride as these things go, but quite a spectacle
nevertheless.
