New strains of superbug can kill in 24 hours (NOT Congo plague story)

New strains of superbug can kill in 24 hours

Highly virulent strains of the superbug MRSA which infect healthy young people with no connection to hospitals are appearing in the UK.

The new varieties cause skin and soft tissue infections such as boils, abscesses and inflammation and, in rare cases so far only seen in other countries, a severe pneumonia that can kill in 24 hours.

Since last April, dozens of Community-Acquired MRSA (CA-MRSA) cases have been identified by the Staphylococcus Reference Laboratory of the Health Protection Agency.

2. There's an aromatherapy oil that kills this bug; Reuters ran the research
study, which originated at a British hospital. MRSA kills 5,000 people a year in Britain. Researchers said putting this oil into hospital soaps could save lifes.

I think the ingredient was called limonline, or linolene, something like that.

Google "Reuters"+"aromatherapy" +"superbug" +"rats"
and you should find it. (The study was in rodents.)

3. Yes, but the pharma-terrorists can't profit from aromatherapy...
...so that cure will not be discussed/promoted.

5. This is a form of "Golden-Staph" mutation!!!
Golden-Staph is argueably Human's worst created nightmare. We make all our hospital's completely bacteria offensive. Bacteria "fight's" back as we cannot kill every bacteria - because obviously "God" thinks we are not that "Clever". He/She lets a few bacteria survive the "Human" offensive. And boy, are the surviving bacteria "potent"!! to the "Vulnerable"!!!
I think "The theory of Evolution" has this problem "Covered" as well!

6. The oils are
Geranium essential oil, that was said to kill this stuff.

There were two other essential oils said to kill this bacteria too, and I think it was Tea Tree and Hyssop(wild Oregano).

8. Breathe them... or, perhaps this would work... I will clip a short piece
from a congressional testimony, and an example that shows what this approach may have done.... this example has been used by hundreds of others around the world to save many many people in this particular situation.... there are MANY MANY immunosupporting sugar based supplements out there... many based on extracts of the Reishi, Maithake, and Shiitake mushrooms. Arabinogalactan is a powerful immunostimulant, as is Manapol. Please do read the lower part of this excerpt.

An example of life threatening toxic shock beaten back by the persons own innate defenses.

Congressional Testimony on Natural Treatments for Deadly Disease (Bioterrorism)
CHAIRMAN BURTON: Thank you, Dr. Jonas. Dr. McDaniel?
DR. REG MCDANIEL: Mr. Chairman, and members of the House Committee on Government
Reform, it?s a privilege to be asked to appear before this panel of members of the House and invited to
testify with the professionals and scientists chosen to address the problems of bioterrorism.
If it were not for the passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994, otherwise
knows as DSHEA, my comments and written information given to you would not exists. I, as a
physician, who I might say was initially quite skeptical, now commend the Congress for its unanimous
vote to pass this legislation.
My comments and written submission are focused on the impact of glyconutrients, dietary sugars, not
herbs or oriental preparations, held within the human body that support and enhance natural defense
mechanisms against infectious disease.
They also are taken in support or standard therapy. Slide one that?s included in the packet and
identifies 30 scientists and 11 institutions in the United States that are performing experiments on our
dietary ingredients and reported their results for peer review.
Slide two identified researchers outside the United States that have contributed to the development of
clinical applications of glyco nutrition. Over 200 scientific presentations have been made by these
scientists on the glyco science of these micronutrients.
When research was initiated in the early 80?s it was a scientific heresy to represent that sugars have
significant biological roles to play in the biochemistry of life processes. It had been incorrectly accepted
that glyco nutrients, known as dietary sugars, monosaccharides, carbohydrates, were simply burned for
energy to support life.
Slide three is a collection of journals that validate the very major role sugars play in the structure and
especially the function of the human body. Glycobiology and glyconutrition are now recognized as
cutting edge technology. Dietary sugars are critical components in the molecular structure of
Page 36
compounds synthesized in cells that conduct the complex and marvelous processes we call life. And
this includes protection and defense against infectious agents.
Multiple bacteria and viruses have been shown to be killed or inactivated in cell cultures in animals by
glyconutrients. This was done because humans claimed benefit from this before we did the laboratory
examinations. With our limited funds we?ve shown five viruses, pathologic yeast, gram positive and
gram-negative bacteria have been activated by a formulation. Independently, Lanced in 1996
contains a review article citing similar saccharides induce action against 37 infectious agents classified as
pathologic bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoon?s.
Evidence is expanding that supplying concentrated micronutrients of which glyconutrients are a major
category, will support relief for chronic and acute diseases in a manner unmatched for a lack of toxicity
unparallel low cost. This is accomplished by nutritional support of intercellular molecular synthesis under
the control of the genetic code that, much like a computer program, contains the instructions for the
biochemistry of life; this is normal structure and function. Such instructions enable appropriate
recognition and response to invading microorganisms. How is this possible with non-toxic dietary
supplements?
There?s a common belief promulgated by authorities in medicine and nutrition that all one needs for
good health and healing is a good general diet with variety. This statement may be correct for those
who are healthy. We have found that it is not sufficient for those with chronic and recurrent diseases,
especially infections. In instances of unusual, epidemic and virulent infectious agent exposure,
glyconutrient supplementation has been found effective for enhancing general immune function and
defense.
When supplied at a higher level and available in nature, sugars needed for cellular synthesis can take in
eight defense mechanisms to a much higher level that are effective against infectious agents. The
biochemical principals responsible for this phenomenon and mechanisms action are in your written
material. Body defense, such as the mechanisms that act naturally when we recovery from a common
cold or influenza can now be unregulated to destroy virulent organisms associated with more virulent
disease.
Such benefit, again, is the result of increased synthesis of cell-to-cell communication molecules that act
like tiny IBM cards sent between cells to provide instructions for destroying bacteria, viruses and other
infectious organisms. Increasing the levels of glyconutrients in the diet increasing the synthesis of these
anti-infection molecules. The bar graph provided is evidence of the functional anti-viral activity
described. It is an example of the increase and general defense against infectious organisms that results
when glyconutrients are progressively added to the diet.
There?s a current concern for not only preventing and destroying Anthrax bacteria, but neutralizing
toxins that attack wholesale membranes. Physicians have reported apparent neutralization of bacterial
toxins produced by various species of bacteria and full recovery of patients near death. In addition,
there have been a few reports in major trauma and post-surgical infections complicated with multra-drug
Page 37
resistant organisms that dietary glyconutrients rendered the patient?s AC brow within hours of use
in chart and hospital expected stay.

>>It?s a historical interest that the first use of a homeopathic preparation of an infectious agent, which are
called nosodes was done in 1830 by the German veterinarian Joseph
Wilhelm Lux who?d reported
using anthrosynam (sp) which is derived from Anthrax for the prevention of Anthrax in animals. Data
collected from conventional, compared to homeopathic hospitals in the last century when it was
prominent, about 100 years ago, reported much lower mortality rate in homeopathic hospitals during
epidemics of small pox, scarlet fever, yellow fever, diphtheria, cholera and influenza. I refer you to the
testimony of Joyce Frye for a more complete discussion of this literature. But an example of this is a
comparison done in Ohio of 20--in 1920?s of 24,000 cases of influenza treated with conventional
therapy compared to 26,000 approximately treated with homeopathy. The mortality in the conventional
was 28 percent and the homeopathy was about 1 percent.<<

9. Oh crap.
My husband's job apparently wasn't hard enough. He's been waiting for this for years. He's all for using tea tree oil (what I use at home), and has even "prescribed" it for patients in the past. I wonder if that would work on this one.

The effect of essential oils on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus using a dressing model.

Edwards-Jones V, Buck R, Shawcross SG, Dawson MM, Dunn K.

Department of Biological Sciences, the Manchester Metropolitan University, Chester Street, Manchester, M15GD, UK. v.e.jones@mmu.ac.uk

Patchouli, tea tree, geranium, lavender essential oils and Citricidal (grapefruit seed extract) were used singly and in combination to assess their anti-bacterial activity against three strains of Staphylococcus aureus: Oxford S. aureus NCTC 6571 (Oxford strain), Epidemic methicillin-resistant S. aureus (EMRSA 15) and MRSA (untypable). The individual essential oils, extracts and combinations were impregnated into filter paper discs and placed on the surface of agar plates, pre-seeded with the appropriate strain of Staphylococcus. The effects of the vapours of the oils and oil combinations were also assessed using impregnated filter paper discs that were placed on the underside of the Petri dish lid at a distance of 8mm from the bacteria. The most inhibitory combinations of oils for each strain were used in a dressing model constructed using a four layers of dressings: the primary layer consisted of either Jelonet or TelfaClear with or without Flamazine; the second was a layer of gauze, the third a layer of Gamgee and the final layer was Crepe bandage. The oil combinations were placed in either the gauze or the Gamgee layer. This four-layered dressing was placed over the seeded agar plate, incubated for 24h at 37 degrees C and the zones of inhibition measured. All experiments were repeated on three separate occasions. No anti-bacterial effects were observed when Flamazine was smeared on the gauze in the dressing model. When Telfaclear was used as the primary layer in the dressing model compared to Jelonet, greater zones of inhibition were observed. A combination of Citricidal and geranium oil showed the greatest-anti-bacterial effects against MRSA, whilst a combination of geranium and tea tree oil was most active against the methicillin-sensitive S. aureus (Oxford strain). This study demonstrates the potential of essential oils and essential oil vapours as antibacterial agents and for use in the treatment of MRSA infection.

for healing. Why do you think, God put natural healing plants on this earth? He knew we would need it. God did not intent for human to make Chemical products for human to use. Look at it, we are now paying price for it.
