Hoyer Courted for Gov. Run

In today’s Roll Call the riveting news is of a potential Steny Hoyer (House Minority Whip) candidacy for governor of Maryland, which his office showed no interest in.

Rep. Chris Van Hollen’s (D-MD) 2004 Republican opponent is apparently organizing for another impossible mission against him, though given the huge spread in the race one wonders why this is news.

And in what has to be a low point for political, gossip journalism, Roll Call has a front page article about, and displayed before and after pictures of, a senator’s teeth.
