http://www.kuna.net.kw/Home/Story.aspx?Language=en&DSNO=699487

BAGHDAD, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Insurgents in Karkuk blew up an elementary school which was planned to be a polling center, police said Tuesday.

The al-Kadhemiya school, located 50 km west of here, sustained extensive damage as a result of the explosion, Brigadier Sarhat Qader told KUNA today.

Insurgents and unknown assailants have been lately targeting schools ostensibly planned to be converted to polling stations ahead of the Jan 30 elections date. (end) mhg.

2. Is it bad
when I really don't care anymore? I mean was is awful and destroying things is bad and all, but honest to god, every damn day something else dies or is blown up and quite frankly I'm just too burnt out to care :(

3. This type of thinking is dangerous...
And plays directly into the hands of those who are perpetuating this war. I understand your frustration, friend. Do not give up hope nor become passive on the topic. You're 'fighting' the good 'fight'.

Keep up the good work, and caring!

4. Actually, they were just trying to create a larger space for the throngs
of voters expected to turn out on the 30th.

8. Let the election day chaos begin.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. We are getting very close to the so called faux elections and the "Insurgents" are upping the ante'.
