Give me back my husband, Kenyan tells Bush

NAIROBI, July 7 (Reuters) - A Kenyan mother of five appealed to U.S. President George W. Bush on the eve of his Africa tour on Monday for help in finding her husband, two weeks after his arrest in Malawi by U.S. agents on an anti-terror sweep.

"I am innocent, Khalifa is innocent, my children are innocent: Can you please give me back my husband?" Kenyan Muslim Fousia Mohamud Sheikh Ali, speaking to Reuters about her husband Khalifa Abdi Hassan, said in a message to Bush.

Fousia added she had received no word from any country or source about Kahlifa's fate since his June 21 arrest but she reckoned Bush could probably find her husband if he wanted to. She said her husband was blameless and no terrorist:

"He would not do anything bad, we don't know Osama bin Laden and my husband is not a supporter of bin Laden," she said.
