Not bad, from his point of view - if your coup plot succeeds, you make millions; if it fails, you lose a few hundred thousand, and can just move to another country (where the suspended sentence won't mean much). Lucky bastard.

1. interesting. the old boy connections fail
to protect Thatcher from prosecution. I bet he's not allowed to leave SA for the duration (he certainly won't get his kids from a texas judge after that little incident. Might be time to find another continent, Mr. Thatcher.

one more child of a prominent conservative gone by the wayside, kinda puts the Bush Twins carousing in perspective, don't it?
