Insurgents warn about snipers targeting Iraqi voters on election day

QAIM, Iraq A militant group in Iraq is posting threats against voters in at least two towns in the volatile Anbar province.
According to the message, dozens of highly trained snipers will be out targeting voters on election day, which is scheduled to be January 30th.

The statement is signed by a group called Secret Republican Army. It specifically mentions a Shiite-dominated province south of Baghdad.

The Iraqis have seen enough of their own kind be killed by Americans for violating curfew, restricted areas, etc.

So the resistance declared election cites a restricted area real Iraqis shouldn't be in. Any who do go, it's open season.
