Cheney To Stump For Tauzin, Boustany On Wednesday

AP: BATON ROUGE, La. -- Vice President Dick Cheney will stump for Louisiana's two Republican congressional candidates Wednesday. Cheney will make a morning appearance for Billy Tauzin III in Houma and an afternoon showing for Charles Boustany in Lake Charles.

The Tauzin campaign said Cheney will attend a rally for Tauzin at Houma's civic center. The vice president's rally for Boustany will be held in the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The Lake Charles event takes Boustany's fight for the 7th Congressional District seat to the heart of his opponent's home turf -- Democrat Willie Mount is the town's former mayor. It will be Cheney's second appearance for the retired heart surgeon. He spoke in Lafayette for Boustany in late September.

4. Melancon is my area

I really can't say. I havent' seen any polls but he and Billy Tauzin 111 are running a ton of ads. Tauzin is only 30 years old with basically no experience. Just running on his dad's name. One of the ads points out that he just got a DWI 2 years ago.

Tauzin's ads about Melancon mostly talk about how he approves every tax. They claim he is a liberal (which is odd since he's pro-life and anti-gay marriage) The ads connect him with Ted Kennedy and John Kerry.

Here in MO, Governor-Elect Skippy (Matt Blunt) is breathlessly awaiting his inauguration.

He's all of 34 years old, and has one whole term in the state House under his belt (+ 4 yrs as Sec. State), but Daddy's position as the #3 Puke in the House has nothing to do with his meteoric rise to prominence.

No, really, it has nothing - NOTHING - to do with it.

Why don't we see any of the conservative christians carrying this sign? On the DU this morning we just saw pics of the christians carrying signs, "God hates Fags". Are repuke christians so uneducated they can't complete a thought? Why don't some honest people start carrying these signs to Cheney's appearances? God obviously hates the Cheney family for their homosexuality. God also then must hate the Bush family for associating and making friendship with homosexual people.
