It just amazes me when there's an election or primary, and people on here (and other places, obviously) don't argue about the stances of a candidate, but about who they think can beat who in what state or county, and/or mention "strategic voting" to justify their abdication of free will in the service of a corporate media machine. I know that may sound extreme and overly-jaded, but I also remember someone genuinely being surprised during the last primary when I suggested that noone would ever know who the people really wanted as their candidate if everyone just voted based on polls and "strategy".
