Every bowl, every piece of furniture was precious.

My favorite depiction of the first thanksgiving. But the artist obviously had no idea how cold Massachusetts was in November before global warming.






Wild turkey, said to have been part of the first thanksgiving meal. The meal probably also included a lot of fish and shellfish, like lobster, very plentiful on Cape Cod then.
