7. Why blame the media?
How about the fact that the media goes after a story like the National Inquire. You can't sue media moguls for the pursuit of crap when they haven't acted like the fifth estate in a long, long time.

And, what is crappier, if that's a word, is all of us getting "interested" in all things like Anthony's impression of his bone on his underwear, REGARDLESS of who he showed it to.

I think it's the height of hypocrisy for people here to insist Democrats in and out of government positions "have to be better" when it's obvious that most people this day would have rather stopped and watched this stupid penis-gate thing unfold like a some god-damned bloody, traumatic car accident.

Really great advice - "you don't do stupid things like that when you have powerful enemies." It's too bad that no matter how hard anyone tries to imply this, none of us are excluded. We ALL have some VERY powerful enemies. The only difference between more public Democrats and Mr. and Mrs. voter is how they get screwed.

I would make light of this, were I him and never ever do anything like this again because it is stupid. But, I would quit bitching about being betrayed. 50% of the voting population betray us every election cycle by not showing up to the polls, which has more impact on us than any picture of wood in someone's underwear ever could.
