Sugar packed sweet potatoes (no elephants says: this refers only to the candied or marshmallow casserole preparation=-plain, baked sweets are good for you)

In reality, the article is saying that these foods aare not great for you and that should depress you. So, while the foods may be less than ideal nutritionally, the info in the article is the depressing thing. But, the article does explain why you should consider avoiding these foods (spoiler alert: usually the answer is lots of fat, sugar and/or salt). And, best of all, the article does suggest substitutes.
