Again there are a multitude of reasons for the way Tuesdays election turned out.
That's a broad brush statement you have there.

It could have been on some voters minds yes, but not all.
The loss of the Blue Dogs, doesn't really concern me, because they came from red districts.
What concerns me, is why did we lose Progressives like Feingold and Grayson? It seems to me if the voters thought that Obama needed to go further to the Left, then they would have wanted to keep them.
That and coupled with the fact that Midterm turnout for Democrats, is never like the General Election.
