92. I noticed that too and Ed Schultz was at it again yesterday!!
What exactly do they think they're doing with that?? Maybe the steps taken so far have been less than ideal but look at the political climate and they're in the right direction and how is bashing ourselves while being bashed by the Repubs and their wealthy allies a winning strategy?? What they need to do is trumpet the successes and explain to people how it benefits them in their daily lives. Yes, we need more but look at what we've done! All this talk about the deficit and no one says that Obama has actually cut the deficit...All this talk about healthcare and no one says how it helps people. I, for one, am ecstatic with the law so that I can have my son on my plan otherwise I'd be paying $600/month for COBRA. All this talk about jobs - why isn't someone with a platform out their saying that Obama has created more jobs in his time in office than Bush did in 8 years? Why isn't someone explaining why the stimulus is necessary...why we had to bail out companies and how it's actually working - how taxpayers are getting their money back in many cases sooner than even expected. Criticism is fine when it's meant to help improve a policy decision or to make a point but when it becomes just blind "nothing is good enough unless it's perfect by my definition" then who needs it?
Republicans are not afraid to go out and lie...Why are we afraid to go out and tell the truth?
