Many of the polled "reasons" sound almost like they are attempting to push ideas that might not otherwise be there - especially the idea that Democrats have an agenda to "raise taxes". (rather than the more likely cause and effect - the deficit is too high to continue, it can't be completely dealt with by cutting spending without harming people too much.)
