109. Have you ever considered the possibility that the people who shop there
are shopping there for the same reason you are: that they're poor? Or that the "brain-dead clerks" seem brain-dead because their poverty forces them to work one of the most mentally deadening, unfulfilling jobs in America? Your fellow Wal-Mart shoppers and Wal-Mart employees should not be objects of hatred nor of sympathy. They're your brothers in economic oppression; your fellow victims of unchecked capitalism. Why hate them? So you can convince yourself that you're somehow better than them? Then you're engaging in class warfare, only you're fighting for the wrong side.

I don't hate people for shopping and working at Wal-Mart; I hate Wal-Mart for leading a modern economic serfdom. The people who work at Wal-Mart and the people who shop at Wal-Mart are all just trying to get by.
