There is no shortage of von Brunn's ideological kindred out there, making all kinds of statements about his status as a lone fringe element, totally disconnected from anyone else, or disconnected from any "legitimate" racialist organizations and ideologues.

Now, why would (on the one hand) folks like Glenn (the extra "n" is for knowledge!) Beck be telling us about the "we surround them" movement, and on the other hand, folks like Rush Limbaugh blaring across the airwaves that von Brunn had no connections whatsoever to the fascisti? It's an interesting split, and a dichotomy designed to reassure comfortable assumptions on both ends of the political spectrum. You pay attention to the voice you want to hear.
