Little-known story about Andrea Mitchell:

since she's apparently decided to be an asshole, then it's our turn:

Many years ago when she first graduated from college (Penn) she was married to an African-American gentleman named Gil Jackson. Mr. Jackson, who later died from MS, was the PR guy for Smith, Kline, and French, and had two children (IIRC) from 'before'. When she was covering City Hall, Mayor Frank Rizzo, a very 'special kind of guy', used to call on her by saying, "Mrs. Jackson..." rather than "Miss Mitchell..."

Andrea has never discussed, to my knowledge, her prior life. I despise sanctimony coupled with hypocrisy.
