164. We're not talking about persecution, we're talking about someone saying "have a blessed day"
If you don't want to believe in jebus, go have yourself a great old time. I certainly won't force you, and if anyone tries I will put you in touch with a good civil rights lawyer. If you think we should have a solid wall of separation between church and state that keeps each out of the other's business, I strenuously agree.

But, you don't have a right remain free of contact with people and beliefs that you don't care for. If a bigot gets upset when someone wishes him "Feliz Navidad" instead of "Merry Christmas," then that's too bad for that asshole. If a fundamentalist Muslim gets upset by the sight of Easter eggs on the store shelf, too bad for that asshole. If a fundamentalist Christian gets upset that his employer recognizes Yom Kippur as a holiday, too bad for that asshole. If the OP gets his undies in a bunch because someone might wish him a "blessed day," too bad for him.
