VW bug. It was bright orange (at one time) with a white rag top and interior. When we came back from Germany (I was born abroad/live in Weisbaden when I was a little girl) my dad got it used for my mom. Sat in the garage for a few years (quite a few) and they SOLD it to me for $500 in 1989. I drove that car for another six years.
My second car? A Geo Prism. Brand new. Graduation "Gift" that I had to match my parents on the downpayment for. Then a Cougar. And now an Altima (hybrid).
