PRAY FOR MCCAIN-PALIN 24 HOUR PRAYER DRIVE (SIGN UP-PRE THURSDAY DEBATE)

Just as we did with President Bush prior to his debates in the most recent Presidential elections, we are calling all interested Freepers to sign up for a time to pray for Sarah Palin during her debate with Joe Biden. Another chain will be set up later to pray for McCain's next debate with Obama.

The way this will work is we would like to have someone praying during each half hour of the day on Wednesday. Times posted are EASTERN STANDARD TIME.

If you would like to take a 1/2 hour slot, sign up on this thread and I'll be gathering names and times during the day to make sure that each half hour is covered.

Duplicates are Okay so long as we get all slots filled.

Thank you for your prayers for this nation's future.

I’m in! Further, I believe this is a very perilous time right now for our country. I wonder if there is anyone that would join me on this day for a 24hr fast as well as praying?

Nine Hour Novena for Sarah Palin

It's 10:00 am here on the west coast so nine housrs would pray Sarah through the debate on the east coast, I believe. Say any prayer you wish -- perhaps even a prayer for her Guardian Angel to guard and guide her since it is the Memorial of the Guardian Angels.

I know some of you don't like your prayers associated with politics, and that's OK. Just let me know so that I won't ping you next time.

(An option would be that you can pray for Sarah as a person and leave the politics out of it.)

PS. I was asked to do this by a couple of FReepers, so am complying at their urging.

Non-Denominational Devotional/Prayer

Well, Governor Sarah Palin is about to enter the lions den having already been savaged daily by the extremely biased secular socialist media. She is going on world-wide television to debate Senator Joe Biden.

This thread is a non-denominational invitation to join together in prayer and expect our Lord to be in our midst, as we beseech Him on Sarah Palin's behalf.

The debate is at 9PM Eastern. I would hope that we will come together starting at 8PM Eastern and maintain a vigil right through the debate, until the end of the liars club spin zones on the alphabet networks.

We will be asking the Lord to confound the minds of those seeking to play gotcha rather than reveal the nature of each candidate. We will be praying that The Lord's Spirit energize Sarah Palin, giving her divine wisdom, discerning the motives and intentions of questions/questioners so that she has His strength of Spirit to sweep away deceit and carry forth The Truth America needs at this crucial time.

Let us pray also that the eyes of our fellow Americans watching the spectacle will be opened to see the true nature of what is occurring in the media assaults on Sarah Palin's character and competence.

When evil seeks to speak through someone, the best quick prayer is to ask The Lord to confuse the enemy and tie up their tongue in meaningless drivel. Although I doubt Joe Biden will need much help with that, I intend to ask The Lord to do just that throughout the debate. Then, when the liars club of secular socialist spin artists try to mischaracterize Sarah Palin in the hours following the debate airing, I will be praying that The Lord's Spirit confuse their words and confound their lying and dissembling.

I will also be praying that The Lord pour His peace into my mind, because my anger level at the lies and deceit flowing constantly from the dead-soul media idiots and demonspawn worshipping a man who I have no doubt has sold his soul for power. Obama's lies and dissembling in the area of abortion and the killing of little ones via neglect of forced premature birth children shows with whom he has made his bargain.
