What FEMA offers, Fema can also ask BACK a year down the road.

When calls are made, jot down the full NAME of the person you talk to, complete with the phone number and a brief description of the discussion. SAVE copies ofany paperwork they send you. Keep ALL the information together, and plan to keep it for at LEAST 2 years beyond their *help*.

We had a nasty wake up from FEMA a year and a half after losing everything in an earthquake. They basically asked for a large chunk of their *help* back. If I hadn't kept notes and extensive files we would have been forced to pay them back.

Be careful folks -- FEMA is NOT your friend.
