13. More effective to target
those who falsely portray themselves. We all know what to expect to from the likes of McCain, Romney but Hillary is in fact the perfect target for she is iconic in her representation of a certain faction of the Party which has been corporatist and militarist AND disingenuous. The likes of Hastert and Co. are quite honest in their criminality. Hillary dresses it up and dances around the issues. Many people find this very offensive.

Some also think the strategy is more effective because Hillary may be able to be pressured and/or embarrassed to shift her position and if her position is altered this would be quite a signifier. Personally I think she is intransigent and the record shows her to be a lifetime corporatist.
