75. Not a hunter, and a vegetarian to boot but....
I know that the deer population is massive and I understand that some people like venison. At some level, I appreciate that hunters go the whole 9 yards in getting the food they eat. They don't rely on a slaughter house to do the dirty work for them.

What I find interesting is the reverence they have for the deer. You see the beautiful pictures of bucks on the back of pick up truck windows, etc. How can you love to see such a beautiful animal like that in the woods and then blow it away? That'd be tough for me. But then again, I think of the native American's reverence for the bison and can understand that you can love an animal for the sustenance it gives your family. I can get that. Maybe that's what is going on with hunters.

But, I don't begrudge them the hunt.

Now, big game sport hunters. Fuck them.
