least scary out of the lot, because he isn't all that wedded to any convictions--he's, uh, FLEXIBLE (to put flip-floppery in a different light). Sure, he's charmless and oily, and says dumb things--but he's not driven by religion (Huckabee) or deep-seated hawkery (McCain and Rudy), and is fairly cautious and at least intelligent enough to be a decent "manager". I agree with this guy's take. I don't know why Steve Clemons thinks that Rudy wouldn't have a prayer--Clemons seems to think that people will be offended by all the neocons on his staff. Most Americans don't know what a "neocon" is.
