My Letter to Feinstein follows:


Last week I wrote to you asking you to explain your vote against the First Amendment, when you played into the Republican's hands by voting against Moveon.org, despite the fact that there was nothing in their ad that was either incorrect, or offensive to anyone who had actually read it. You did not respond; which I suppose is better than the usual "making decisions is hard" letter I have received in the past.

I am writing today to ask for an explanation of your vote for Joe Lieberman's "Let's go to war with Iran!" amendment. Given the history of the current administration, you have just given him authorization to turn the Middle East conflict into World War III.

Admittedly, Mr. Ahmadinejad is an unpleasant person. But, so is the person at the top of America's executive branch. The louder we rattle our sabres against Iran, the more they feel they need someone as crazy as "our guy" at the top. Please, stop enabling both of them.

I look forward to your response. Failing a cogent response, I will be looking at who the Democrats can replace you in five years. Assuming we are all still here.
