Today the French Secretary of State warned (the world) that if Iran does not comply with he rules of the IAF, they will have no choice but to use military force.

What I read between the lines (and someone please tell me I'm wrong) is that Europe is taking Cheney's plans for an Iran invasion very serious and they can not allow the US to either obtain a virtual oil monopoly or take out the Iran supplies like we did with Iraq and create complete chaos on the oil market. They will rather take Iran themselves (and suffer the consequences) than let the US fuck up another one.

And then what? Some healthy competition? A race on Islamabad? A joint strike force? Or....world war III for real this time?
Will the crazy SOB's in the WH let France beat them to the punch? Are Russia and China just gonna sit by and wait for the outcome?

This is not good.
