And yes, for every warrior, small or great, that is the POV, no matter what source you use, (and there are others).

Every good soldier can put their potential death in a simple, but meaningful way so that it does not get in the way of their service: "There is a bullet with my name on it out there! If it manages to hit me, I may die. If it does not, then I was not meant to!"

Simple, but true. You cannot live your life fully if you live it only in fear.
