but google flash video cpu and the problems are pretty obvious, but since its hiding behind the browser most people blame that first.

the old school flash animations / ads were just simple vectors, but i think its much different now. im not an expert on flash video and AJAX but that's where i have run into problems, especially on older cpus that could handle local apps but not say local apps + web 2.0 or flash streaming...

its sort of a patchwork framework anyway that just sort of took off and adobe has done well with it. never a web 'standard' in the true sense of the word.

i say good riddens myself. any software that demands that much patching month to month means its not working.
