It'll smell musty, and it will be forever open with wavy pages, but it will still tell stories.

My point is that these reviewers knew that the iPad had a glass covered LCD screen since the January debut. They used that against e-ink displays in their speculative articles before they got ahold of one. They knew it was never going to look good in direct sunlight. They also knew that the iPad is not a single purpose device, like an e-reader. So why would this even be a criticism of the iPad, when no other tablet computer, or netbook can be used in direct sunlight, much less a smart phone? Why compare it with ONLY devices with e-ink screens and not anything else with a comparable monitor? ... Because they're looking for something to diss.
