it was one of the only ones out there. (It was also cheaper than the non-backlit Kindle and Sony reader by quite a bit.) Why didn't I buy an iPhone? Because I don't talk on the phone enough to warrant the $100/month voice and data plan. That made the iPod Touch cheaper than the iPhone real quick!

I use a TracFone for my cell phone needs...as little as I talk, I spend about $100 a YEAR on minutes.

I can use the internet on my iPod Touch while at home or anywhere else there's wi-fi, and in places where the only internet would be 3G, I can still access all the books, music, and games I've already downloaded.
