18. The copyrights on musical compositions
are like any other, depending on when they were initially written/copyrighted and under normal circumstances extend 75 years past the death of the composer(s).

Bear in mind however that license fees are administered by the music publishing company that the composer is signed with (ASCAP, BMI, WARNER or a few others). They dictate how much will be charged for a composition, what rights will be included in that fee, and the length of the time that the composition will be under license to the licensee.
