The Malia post at Free Republic exposed the pervasive culture at the site in a single thread, but the bigotry is not limited to that thread.

You can find cultural and racial stereotypes throughout their threads. In threads about John McCain, one dolt always posts racially charged cartoons of "Juan McCain". In threads about immigration, there are always racially charged posts depicting Hispanic people in a bad light. Any thread about Barack or Michelle Obama will always bring out racial stereotyping depicting African Americans poorly.

And don't get me started on any thread about gay rights.

These comments will always be by long time Freepers, and nobody EVER calls them out on the blatantly bigotted nature. The comments always remain and the threads are never pulled.

You can find examples of what I claim nearly every day with just a casual browsing of the threads on the site.
