2. That has happened countless times when repugs want to privatize jobs.
They'll talk nonstop about the savings to the taxpayer. The implication is that if certain jobs are privatized that expenditure falls off the government's budget or is significantly reduced, whether it be at the federal, state, or local level. The big thing that changes is that tax revenues are redistributed to a smaller group of people. Instead of government jobs with decent wages and benefits you'll get a private company that more often than not has well paid people at the top, with the people doing the actual work generally are working with a lower wage structure than their government counterparts. The $$$ is just funneled upwards to a few.
