since you folks are all my friends, and I've given a whole lotta dental advice over the years, I feel 'comfortalbe' putting out the call for...HELP!!!

Ok...if you're still reading this: here's the issue: I have 4 boxes in the house, 2 HDTV, where I can see Candy Crowley's gorgeous complexion in remarkable detail, and 2 non-HDTV boxes where she looks plain mean and evil, but the makeup 'works'. On one line, not box, LINE, I cannot receive...now get ready: BROADCAST Channels. I get perfect reception on all the others but none on the local ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, or other broadcast channels. A screen comes up which says: Unavailable.

When I swap boxes on the line, which comes from a Verizon splitter, it still doen't work. Yet, on all the other boxes and lines in the house, all channels work. Is this weird or what?

...and on edit: the folk at FiOS have no idea themselves...I"ve spent 3 hours on the phone with them...they said they'd sent out a tech, but you know how that is...

Thanks in advance...
