Far from making me excited, these latest revelations are making me a bit nervous. Desperate times call for desperate measures and it's not beyond this group to stage yet another "terrorist" attack inside the country or to have "Iran" attack one of our ships in the Gulf in a last ditch attempt to hold on to power. What's worse is that it probably would work. Prior to the 2006 midterms I don't think it would have helped their cause at all but now they have nothing to lose so they can go for broke.

We have to remember who we are dealing with here, people who are so convinced that their way is the only way for America to survive that they will sacrifice anyone or anything to maintain their agenda. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I think these next weeks and months might be the scariest and most uncertain times we will face in the history of the country. We've seen enough of what these people are capable of to know they will not just surrender without a fight. They will use any means necessary to maintain their grip on power be it a terror attack, an attack on our navy or dropping a nuke.

We must be very wary now, the rat is cornered.
