Bush regime, because then we still had HOPE that things would change if a Democratic candidate could just secure the Presidency.

Now we see that both Parties are mere appendages to the One Big Corporate Party.

And those of us who understand that our nation has been handed over to the Corporate Elite, understand that that is the definition of fascism. But when we complain, we are told by the party loyalists that we are being naive, that we surely cannot expect a man to keep his campaign pledges, because politicians don't do that.

Again, those of us with decent memories understand that not all politicians turn their backs on the People, for the sake of campaign donations.

FDR was a decent STATESMAN, and so was LBJ. LBJ was able to pass the Civil Rights Act, because he was a good Negotiator, and he did a hard bargain.

He passed this bill, despite the fact that 23 Democrats stood against him. He still managed to get Republicans on board, because he was a strong and fearless man at times.

Obama is a Colluder.

My most fervent wish for this nation is that Grayson and Feingold are on top of the ticket in 2012, so that I have someone to vote for. (And in politics, things can change over night. No one in 1958 thought that JFK would be the nominee for the Democratic Party in 1960.)
