2. The peace negotiators must really be applying some effective pressure.
Hamas brings in a ship that jeopardizes, in Israel's eyes, its need for security, and then Israel stops the ship through violent means. Hmmmmm. Looks to me like both sides are being offered a solution they cannot refuse but do not want to accept. Maybe progress is being made at last.

Peace comes when both sides really want it. That one or the other side wants peace does not bring peace. Both sides have to be willing to give up a lot -- especially their pride.

The Israeli guy was right. Iran would like to distract from the issues over its nuclear stockpile.
