Don't think the American people will support bombing of Iran? Think again. Frame and package it right, and they'll fall for it. First the administration has to scare enough of the citizenry by amplifying the message that Iran is a scary, scary place with evil intentions. Make frequent allusions to Ahmadinejad as Hitler like and more of a threat than Saddam. Then, create the illusion that the threat is not only real but imminent. Throw in the great threat that Iran poses to Israel. Be sure to emphasize that an attack will only be on the nuclear facilities, not on the people of Iran, who we love and want to see enjoying the fruits of democracy.

It'll take several months, but once enough of the lies are spread, they'll take the chance that when the bombs begin to fall, the American people will reflexively back the president.

Just don't think they can't sell it.
