Not all illegal immigrants in the US are of Mexican extraction- indeed we have quite a few illegals from Europe who came here on student visas and then just styed after their graduation.

And I don't think that anyone other than the true racists really think that the people who are already here should be deported. But people would like to try to stop the downward spiral that is the US average wage, and one of the ways in which that wage is severely impacted is by the employment of illegal labor. Arguing that immigration laws should be enforced and that employers should be held accountable is not the same as shouting racial epithets at any brown skinned person you see.
