9. That kind of sideshow isn't the real problem
Garbage like that tends to undermine the writer's cause by making people associate those views with an adolescent mentality. Besides, it's on the talk page, not the article itself. I worry much more about the people who understand the system and make serious edits to articles -- deleting information that's inconvenient to their point of view, adding biased statements that are sourced to dubious RW publications or sites, etc. And, of course, as they do this they complain about a supposed left-wing bias on Wikipedia.
