Have you taken a peek under the hood of a new BMW or Mercedes? Everything's covered with plastic panels. The message is, "If you don't have access to the factory service codes, don't even think about it. Just bring it into the dealer, and we'll check your oil and filters. That'll be $800. Visa, MC or AMEX?"

Tried to jump start a coworker who has a new 3 series. Couldn't find the battery, not even in the trunk.
