12. The mafia played a HUGE role in keeping ports safe during WW2
It's why Lucky Luciano got deported instead of rotting away in prison at the end of the war...the deportation was a little "thanks, Lucky" for having his boyz thwart the efforts of Nazi spies and saboteurs, most notably in the ports of New York. They may have been thieves, but they were PATRIOTIC thieves. Nowadays, we have UNPATRIOTIC thieves, and they are leading our nation, to boot!

But of course, John Fund is a sleazy, disgusting, "pro-life" nitwit who used to spend his time knocking up the teen daughter of his ex-girlfriend and then ordering her to abort, so I guess he missed that key bit of American history what with all the bumping and grinding. It's a lousy friken example he is using to justify his absurd claims, and he is, as usual, a Howdy Doody lookin' dunce.
