11. I've got a feeling that he's not gonna last that long.
With what is now coming out, it appears that DeLay simply has to resign. He won't have a lick of support in Washington with this stuff out now. Two other Republicans have already filed for his seat -- and I don't think DeLay has ever had a primary challenger until now.

I think Nick Lampson will win, but I doubt DeLay will be his opponent. Lampson was my congressman before redistricting. I requested his assistance once and it was taken care of almost immediately. I can attest that nobody's better than Nick Lampson in constituent services. With restricting, I'm now in Ron Paul's district.

After reading the entire Washington Post article, I just don't see how DeLay can continue. This story is the first fall-out from Abramoff's plea deal. It's just beginning, and this is a big beginning.
