57. Although I'm love Canada & my birth father was Canadian we live on the US
side in NY.

NYC must be a zoo with that much snow. I've been down there many times and have an uncle down there. I can't even imagine all that traffic and the plows trying to get the roads and tracks cleared off.. not to mention the side walks. OTOH a friend of mine from down there says it's a bit like a school snow day for adults since many businesses take the day off too.

We had the same odd January. One day up to 51! We've even had the early flowers start to push out of the ground a bit. In a way we're relieved that it's been mild so far since oil prices are so high and we've been struggling to keep the house heated. OTOH not having the snow up here is not good for the plants since it's Mother Nature's insulation blanket. February has been more "normal" and freezing cold like it is down there I think. Spring can never come to fast for me... the snow is beautiful and makes everything look pretty but I'll take the colors (and gentle warmth) of Spring and Fall anyday. :)

Take care and stay safe my friend...
