It debases the important and fearful subject matter, and, if it comes to that--pray to God it doesn't--it disgraces the memory of the one who suffered the medical attack. Sen. Harry Reid suffered a mild stroke a couple of years ago and is now fine, so there is a great deal of hope. These are human beings and this is the fate we all share--they are not soap opera fodder for advertisers and Republican filth. From "conspiracy, Rove did it" on the one side, to "does this mean we Republicans take over again?" on the other, it is all some pretty disrespectful "coverage." I am really worried about this--for Sen. Johnson, the family, South Dakota, and our whole country and world.
