10. My assumption is that the vote is recorded on the card
That each card represents a vote. That's why I was amazed that they were just lying in a pile at the entrance and that collection afterwards was so casual. If it was just to allow the machine to register the votes why have more than one card. My treadmill needs me to insert something in order to turn it on as a safety precaution. But that card just hangs attached to the treadmill. It's my understanding, and correct me anyone please, that each card is a vote. It looks just like a phone sim card which stores data into its own memory so I think it stores the vote.

Well, in theory.
